Determine the Gross Towing Weight (GTW) and tongue weight (TW) of your trailer. The GTW is the weight of the trailer fully loaded and ready for towing. Important: Do not tow the trailer if either the GTW or the TW exceeds the towing vehicle's maximum towing capacity. Check the weight-rating code(s). "WIRE" letters (AA, BB, CC, DD) indicate the connectors or light converters that are recommended for the Class I hitch.
