Over uneven city streets or highway expansion strips, the VST½ senses the "easy" piston travel and tailors the ride for greater comfort. No annoying thump caused by heavy belted tires and radials. During a hard ride the VST½ senses the faster piston travel and instantly increases damping resistance. Rough road or no road? VST½ "knows" it and provides the control needed.
